Next, make sure that your camera is on and that it's facing toward your face (not away from it).
Now, wait for the other person to accept your call. When they do, they'll appear as a little box on top of your screen—they'll be able to hear and see you!

Video calls on Badoo are a great way to connect with other members in real time. You can use video calls for almost any purpose, from catching up with friends and family to talking about a new project you've been working on.
To start a video call, simply tap the plus sign on a member's profile and choose "Video Call." If you're already in a chat with that person, you can also tap the camera icon at the top of your screen to go directly into a video call.
You'll see two options: "Camera On" and "Camera Off." If you choose "Camera On," your profile picture will appear in your chat window while the other person sees an animated version of yourself (which we call "avatars"). If you choose "Camera Off," however, the other person will see an empty chair where your photo should be. This is useful if you're talking to someone who isn't comfortable with showing their own face yet.
Once you've connected with another member using either method, simply look into your camera to start chatting!
